What KittenKey is
KittenKey helps families find kittens from breeders in the United States. Breeders list their own kittens; KittenKey is not the seller and does not own, breed, ship or inspect the kittens. The agreement to buy a kitten is between the buyer and the breeder.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give true information about yourself.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person, one account. Don’t create accounts for others or pretend to be someone else.
Rules for breeders
- Follow the KittenKey breeder code you agreed to when you got verified.
- List only real kittens you raise yourself, with real photos and honest descriptions, prices and health information.
- Follow the laws of your state and city about breeding and selling animals, including any license you need.
- Keep payments for kittens on KittenKey once deposits are available here. Never ask buyers to pay by gift card, wire or crypto.
Rules for everyone
- Be respectful in messages and reviews. No threats, harassment or hate.
- Reviews must be about your own real experience.
- No spam, scams, fake listings or listings of animals other than cats.
- Don’t copy other people’s photos or videos.
Verification and paws
Paws and badges show what KittenKey checked at the time (for example, a video with the kittens or parents’ vaccination records). They are not a guarantee of a kitten’s health or a breeder’s future behavior. Always meet the kitten, ask questions and read the contract before you pay.
What we can do
- Remove listings, reviews or messages that break these rules, hide kittens while we look into a report, and suspend or close accounts.
- Change these terms. If the change is important, we will tell you on the site or by email.
Limits
KittenKey is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep scams off the site, but we can’t promise that every breeder or buyer will act honestly, and we are not responsible for agreements between buyers and breeders, to the extent the law allows.
Leaving
You can delete your account any time in Account → Edit profile → Delete my account.
